Safety Program
The safety and well-being of all personnel are important for the efficient operation of the Company. All efforts should be focused on working in the safest, most efficient means possible. Safety implies acting with common sense, good judgment, and foresight towards the welfare of all personnel and maintenance of equipment. It is an ongoing process that requires continuous monitoring and, therefore, a program.
The ultimate goal of PrimeStar's Industries' Safety Program is zero work-related accidents and injuries resulting in. lost time. The secondary goal is the minimizing of all injuries.
It is recognized that there are several safety considerations in our industry to include:
- Working with hazardous chemicals
- Disposal of hazardous chemicals
- Walking on wet floors
- Lifting furniture and equipment
- Operating forklifts
- Working around electrical equipment
- Working around construction contracts
- Use and wear of protective gear
It is, therefore, imperative that workers follow all the appropriate rules and regulations to the letter. It is also imperative that all equipment operators are thoroughly trained in the operation of that specific equipment and respect it to the utmost degree.
